Sold and Retired to the good life

Some of you may recall that I hauled my scrap vehicles over to Jacks yard in the evenings to avoid DOT and other possible financial hazards.

And that Jack left the key for the loader for me off load and let me self weigh my loads.

And the best part is that he let me pick certain goodies that I could use for my own projects, well this has now probably come to an end as Jack has sold the business and retired.

I'm going to miss Jack and his generosity.

Time marches on. Best wishes to Jack. Too bad you couldn't buy the yard.

Jack was operating a two tier business, domestic and industrial garbage with a fleet of trucks and bins, then there was the scrap side of the business.

    Jack had the bases covered.

The new owner will be the new Sanford and Sons, next time I'm over in Neepawa will stop in and introduce myself and give him a heads up on a bin drop location.

That was how I managed my gratuities with Jack.
