    He stuck his nose where???

Way to go man. There's never a dull moment.

I was able to get into the site and was thinking about starting a thread where we could post our contact information, but never mind. It would probably just get hijacked with nonsense and bulls**t.

    If it's the one i'm thinking of ..... ?

Sometimes, folks go off on a tangent and get themselves all confused.

I was talking with a woman many years ago and she taught me something valuable. We had been having a conversation and at the end of it all she sort of sighed and quietly turned away. I asked her what was wrong and she explained that men don't listen.

I thought it over for awhile, and came to understand that she was probably right. My ears were working just fine but i couldn't hear what she was saying.

For all of my powers of reason & logic .... i was a complete klutz when it came to matters of the heart.

Anyway ... was this possibly in reference to something else ? I'm assuming here. Might have gotten it all wrong.

This was concerning a new thread but not your posts. It was the other advice being offered, but not asked for.

As for your "matters of the heart" story, I learned a long time ago how to listen to my wife. It hurts me when I see my wife having a problem. Men naturally want to fix the problem but that's not what most women want. They want you to sit there and be quiet and do nothing but LISTEN.

Ohh man ... totally get what you're saying.

I've been married for 38 yrs and it just keeps getting better. One thing i've found is that it's good to "feed back" from time to while she's talking.

You repeat back what she's saying every so often. That way it validates what she's saying and shows that you sincerely care about what she's trying to tell you. The other thing is that it sort of confirms that you both are on the same page up until that point.

If you're not sure about something ... don't be afraid to ask for clarification.

A happy wife is a happy life !

If you can attentively care for her emotional needs and keep her healthy ... she will return the favor in ways you could never imagine.

( LOL ...no ... not necessarily in THAT way. Stop thinkin' with the little head for a minute guys. )

But dammit Hills ya gone and left one in the cold.

If it's getting too hot for ya here maybe send another support ticket. You might get lucky and have this thread locked down as well or have me banned.
< Gentle Laughter > Whoa ... dude ... sloooow down and take a deep breath. You've got yourself all worked up again. You've got all kinds of crazy ideas in your head.

What's goin' on ? Common sense and reason should tell you that the profile doesn't fit. Why all the wrath ?

Symbols have different meanings to different people. To me ... it represents balance. It's a balance of reason in equilibrium with a wisdom of the heart.

Another interpretation would be that it's a balance of the light and the dark. Both are the same in that they are simply two opposite sides of the same coin.

Another interpretation could be that they represent the forces of creation and destruction. The balance between order and chaos.

Scary to think that you might someday discover your true nature, but you would make a wonderful Chaote. It's well in keeping with your true purpose for being here. You could be a real a$$ kicker if you channeled your energies in the right direction.

    You just seem confused ...

It's all good man .... peace bro !

For whatever it's worth, i can understand the wrath. It would be nice if it were all perfectly transparent but the culture here in Maine is a little different. I could never explain because i would be the first to admit that i don't fully understand it myself. Suffice it to say ... things that need to get taken care of tend to get taken care of. There's nothing sinister going on, but you certainly don't want to find yourself on the wrong side of things.

Case in point: There was a guy that came into the community a little while back. He's the kind of guy that you were talking about .... didn't take care of his kid .... thought only of himself. Basically a parasite that had latched on to one of the local girls. He didn't last long. First he rightfully lost his job. Next, he lost his place to live. Finally, put his a$$ on a Greyhound bus and sent him back where he came from. Things don't go well when your community turns on you here. The scary part is that it's NOT a coordinated effort. They just seem to be of the same mind.
