    And then that made me have to look up Leo Kottke. I once heard his voice compared to goose farts on a hot summer evening. He however plays a 12 string better than I have ever heard.

    I went to his X-mas concert at Orchestra Hall in the Twin Cities back in 1976 , It was phenomenal.....The hall only held 500 people but everyone was riveted to the blur of his hands the whole time.... sounded like two or three people playing together....I still get a chill thinking back on that .
    That quote was on the cover of one of his very early albumns from the early 70s.

    Thats the year I was born Re..lol...He's an unbelievable guitar player. Reminds me of Tommy Emmanuel(Love the stuff Tommy and Chet Adkins did....AND Jerry Reed and Chet for that matter too) Jerry Reed was CRAZY talented...

    I listen to country alot but I LOVE Ska music! I usually don't listen to the radio anymore b/c they only play the slow country songs(for the majority of the time) and I want to punch them in the face for trying to put me to sleep! Here's some Big Dog Small Fence.

    Woohoo can NEVER get enough Merle!!!! And love the Bakersfield sound of Buck...dig the way Dwight yoakam carried it on. I listen to the Merle station on Pandora radio and it plays all that good ole sh*t!!
