    Lost my other dog monday

    Last year my Buddy Bailey died at 13 , last Monday my Little Bonnie Lass passed at 12 , these 2 scrapped with me their entire life and will be missed, yes I will get another dog someday but never will replace these two. my avatar has a favorite photo of them from about 10 years ago.

    Old dogs care about you even when you make mistakes;
    God bless little children while they're still too young to hate

    Sorry to hear about your dog. You don't replace your dog friends, you keep them, and you get new ones.

    Sad it is. Wait awhile to replace them, you have memories to keep you going until you find the next two friends! People seem to rush to replace but with this take your time.

    My wife and I went from 4 down to 1 in about 12 months. The loss was much more than I expected. Each had his/her own personality. Each was a friend like no other aways happy to see me and appreciated my attention. Good luck, Mike

    Wow. That is a big hit in a short time. Hopefully you had them all for a long time.

    My condolences on your loss. Never easy to say goodbye to our furry friends/family.

    I'm sure when the time is right, you an yours will find another that is meant to be with you. No need to rush it.

    Again my condolences. I got 3 face munching dogs of my own. One is going on ten, the other 6(i think) and the newest is going on almost 5 or 6 months. An they are my buddies, co-workers, kids, etc. Them dogs certainly keep me young, or at lest they try. LOL.

    Sirscrapalot - Dogs make the best of friends. When you need to *****, their right there to listen without judging. When you want to be silly, you got a four legged furry partner in crime. When your day/week/month/year sucks...a lick an ten minutes of furry loving can make you forget it all. - Me, maybe someone else...I dunno, an don't care.

    It takes time, just like losing a family member or friend.

    I found a dog that had been used as a bait dog, rescued her off the street eating garbage all scarred up and malnourished. Brought her home and nursed her back to health. Then discovered that she was so aggressive to other dogs from her upbringing that we had to give her away. I fell in love with that stupid mutt in the two months that I had her.
