    It's certainly possible, deer get tangled up all the time, just usually they both have there lower half.
    One in a billion...ehhh put me under the believing side of skeptical, I have seen plenty of weird stuff in nature this fits right in that realm.

    I've never seen a severed head but I do have a pic of three big mature deer racks all tangled together. Was just bones when it was found but you can see they got tangled and eventually died from not being able to free themselves
