This pawn shop is in the town where I live. The owner is a great guy. He helps a lot of people and doesn't ask for anything in return. He was really glad that the owner of the bonds was found.

A story about good deeds and fine individuals in this world is not covered in the media enough. This story is inspirational and uplifting.
Give back more to this world than we take.

Obviously any good news reported is "fake news". Crime, Violence, scandals, sex, etc sell. Feel good stories don't sell. Sad state of affairs eh? An when a good news story gets out there. All the negative nancy's in society come an swear there's an ulterior motive to the kindness. Probably someone in the comment section from this story is doing it now on that fine story.

Thanks for sharing! See not all pawn shop owners are douche bags trying to screw you over any chance they get. I deal with one here on my sandbar. We got two. One is a Jeweler/pawn shop. The other is a straight pawn run by a religious fella. The first....it's family run an has been long as it's been in business. Think they are 4 generations in. Lovely folks. Always willing to work with you if needing to pawn an item for a loan, or you need jewelry, they will work the price with you as they make the majority of their stuff. Good folks.

The second fellow? I mention he's a religious fella for a reason. Has he has no qualms telling you that. All day every day. Sadly tho, he gets angry very quickly if you dare to ask for more then he's willing to give. I've watched him flip out on folks, his wife, an many others. One of those folks who is quick to tell you his religion but soon as you give him the chance he will stab you in the back or screw you over. He's known to take pawns then sell the stuff right away as he assumes you won't come back. He's a last resort for most folks on my sandbar. I think it's hurting his business to, cause he's trying to get a uhaul rental thing going. LOL. Flipping out means: Yell, cuss, storm around, throw ****, etc.

I'm not a overly religious person, but one thing that pisses me off is the people who say they are but act the complete opposite.

Point: Not all pawn shops are evil despots looking to screw you over. A lot are, but not all.
