Anyone Know About Swords?

I picked two swords at a yard sale and I know nothing about swords. One is a Samurai sword (catana?) and the other looks like a three musketeer sword. The samarai sword is in great condition, the three musketeer, not so much. Anyone here that can give me some info and possible prices on the two swords?

The katana is cheap - $20 - $30 new
The rapier sword goes for $40 - $70 new ( that one shown is in bad shape )

Sigh... That is why I don't buy swords. Well, I only paid $20 for the pair, so I should do ok. I may even keep the Katana, or not. Thank you for the help.

Fair question.
We have a wood fireplace out on our back patio and a firepit in the back yard.
We burn a fire many weekend nights and listen to music and drink adult beverages.
Oak is by far the best burn wood to and easiest the wood to find.
Since Irma went through, there is a lot of oak on the ground to be picked up for free and I am able to cherry pick the nice straight trunk sections that are the easiest to split and stack.
I am taking advantage of the moment to resupply my stores. I have been working my a$$ off the past few weeks to split and stack really nice wood to burn for perhaps the next three to four years.

No. I have to chock the wood I am splitting and the oak is stringy and has to be able to split apart. I would need to build something to hold the tire up around the wood. Looks good on paper, but I would have to invest some amount of time on something I believe would just make the work harder. I am almost done with the two big piles alongside the house. There is a pile out back I will burn through this year and I hope to be able to get the wood to refill that pile to have a full stock going forward...
