I will be having two christmas dinners.

With the parents - Leg of Lamb, potatoes, pie, some green vegatables I guess, rolls etc.
With the wife and son - Grilled salmon, rice, broccoli. My wife only eats fish, which is completely disappointing to me

I did one year have a huge BBQ for all the extended family. Bristket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs, greens, hot wings, sweet rolls, chili, baked beans, corn bread, slaw, 5 different sauces I made, and bread pudding! By the time I finish making that big of a bbq, I'm pretty much over eating it. You've basically smoked yourself as well.

    Merry Christmas!

I had to look up what beef braciole was. Not too many Italian descendant folks around here...

All your food sound quite yummy!!! I think we're doing more of a grazing feast than anything. The wife usually gets a ham from the hospital she has worked at for 30 years, honey-baked or something like that. It sounds like my area is going to be at near record highs on Christmas Day and have a big windy rainstorm. It was -26 F last Sunday morning. That will be about a 70 F degree swing in temps in a week's time. Just a little climatic variability for ya!

Rice and a microwave burrito. I'm planning on having popcorn as an appetizer.

"Family Dinners" don't happen very often.

Whatever the sister in law makes is what I'm having, but I know my wife made 14 pies of which 5 are buttermilk. Yes, I said buttermilk and WOW is it delicious. I know I'm saving room for that. She said she used 48 eggs in her baking since yesterday. Good thing we have hens and get about 40 a day. I'm treating them well......(the hens that is) Merry Christmas

I come from a long line of Norwegian "Pros" who critique every...little...thing! And I have to cook for the worst/wonderful one tomorrow.
So I'm thinking Spaghetti O's and weed...side of Valium...taser gun...

She chose chicken with about 12 side dishes. SURE! Whatever keeps the lutefisk away! (bleck)

    Merry Christmas all

Scrapper T, I just wanted to let you know you're invited to Christmas dinner at my house. Spaghetti O's and the rest sound pretty good right now.
