    Laptop Batteries

    I have some laptop batteries when selling do i take the batteries out of the plastic case or sell them as a whole. Also the batteries may be DEAD as in itll hold charge for a few minutes and poof are they worth anything then?

    Do what he said. Read through the Buyers/Sellers forum(button also at the top of the page).

    Scrap laptop batteries are shipped whole in their original plastic case. You MUST cover the connector on the battery with tape. The buyers will charge you if they have to put tape on the connectors. Also ground shipping is normal for li-ion batteries.

    exactly what they said...LEAVE them in the casing. YOU MUST tape the terminals...if 2 touch and short circuit they will start a VERY VERY hot fire (li-ion ones). It is SUPER important to do that for everyone safety, and a must when shipping.
