    Atlas V Rocket Launch

Just a note to let those know who can see it... 11:05 starts a half hour launch window. I have my alarm set so I can get out to the celery fields to watch. It should he be Yuoge. It will be a beautiful launch. Should be a really clear night here. An Atlas V will be bigger than a shuttle. It has been a while since I have seen a night launch and I am looking forward to seeing it.

We were at Coco Beach in Oct. 2007 when there was a daylight shuttle launch. Even though it was 8-10 miles away, still pretty cool!! I'm glad my boys got to see it even at that distance. I've watched an Atlas 5 launch a satellite (remotely) from Vandenburg AFB in Cali. Saw a shot of the newly emerged satellite coming around the night side of the Earth towards the sun. Pretty cool sight. Maybe I can find it somewhere...

Iv never been to a rocket launch, but its on my bucket list.
One of the biggest reasons I got into e-waste is I'm a certified video game nut. PC Master Race to be more specific.
I have been playing a game called Kerbal Space Program for a very long time and am involved with its gaming community. Mostly through Twitch.
Two streamers worth checking out are Ej_Sa and DasValdez The reason I mention them, they were at this launch. They got an exclusive up-close tour of the OA-6 Atlas V vehicle on the pad before launch with ULA executives. Check out there channels for coverage and gameplay.

ps... ill add links when I get home, my work network wont let me add links

When we were down at Coca Beach when the shuttle launch happened, there were people paying $200-300 a piece to go stand on private property as close as they could get to the launch made (a couple miles away usually). We met a mom and boy about 8-10 at our hotel that were down for the launch from somewhere up in the Northeast and they were doing the close up deal.

I will tell you this; The difference between Titusville Beach and 8-10 miles away are negligible. If you saw it from 8-10 miles away, you got nearly as best as you could get. You got better look than 99.999999% of all of humanity who have EVER been in existence. GOMF!
