    Christmas Gifts

I had basically given up on cordless tools because of the failure rate over time and the failure of batteries and the fact the inconsistency of tool/battery combinations. A couple of years ago tool companies began using the same battery for different tools. I really didn't know which tools to buy as I really didn't feel like paying the money new tool by tool. I finally came across a bunch of Ryobi tools at a yard sale... 4 drills, hammer drill, impact driver, three circular saws, six batteries, three chargers, dust buster, radio... for $150, so I bought them. They have worked suprisingly well and I have been happy with tool and battery life. I now buy tools at yard sales to upgrade my collection and just finished a job using nothing but the cordless Ryobi tools (I actually used my Dewalt sawsall for some of the work as the battery models don't seem to have the speed control corded models have). I was walking through Home Depot the other day and saw a Ryobi Bluetooth radio and sent the note to Santa. She come through for me!

Looking forward to bustin out the new tool on the next job!
