    Veteran's Day Thanks

Since no one else has done it yet today, I'll post it.

    Thank You Veterans!!!

Your sacrifice is appreciated more than you know. Putting your own life on the line to defend this country from enemies both foreign and domestic is what allows us to live freely in the most prosperous nation the world has ever known.

I was going to go to a certain scrap client today, and I learned they were closed for the "Holiday". Thought to myself...'that screws up my whole week.' Then I thought 'No, it is good they are honoring Military Veterans by shutting down'.

Slight inconvenience to me, but much deserved symbol of appreciation to our Military Veterans.

So, thank you to all who served in the military to protect this great nation!
Money is not the root of all evil, the love of money is.

I agree. I made several calls to my dad, other relatives, and friends to say "Welcome Home." I could hear my dad choking as he told me that they were going to Golden Coral in Colorado Springs for a free dinner for veterans. He said yesterday Red Lobster gave him a choice between a free appetizer or desert in appreciation for his service. USAA insurance is another company devoted to our veterans, but do not know if they have special offers on Veterans Day.

I am not aware of other companies that recognize the service of our veterans, but think this would be the perfect thread to advertise their recognition, appreciation, and devotion to the veterans of our country. Thank you to our veterans, past, present, and future.
Give back more to this world than we take.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

I closed today for the holiday.

I think more people should. For all that the veterans have done (Including those who died to defend the best nation out there), I think taking a day off to honor them is the least that we can do.
