For 17 years I had my own dumpsters at a Salvation Army thrift store and they would put things in them and I would pick up the loads when full.

I always found it funny that it was a ARMY that didn't believe in guns, so over all those years I ended up with every gun and related item that came into the store.

Over the years I ended up with a nice assortment of Nerf guns, water guns, cap guns, replica guns, pellet guns and real guns.

I did find it interesting that the SA had no problem with selling swords and other weapon type items. It seemed that cannons were ok for them to sell as well as the little army men and their vehicles. I ended up with a very nice selection of the tiny guns that go with action figures.

It was a vague area as to what was a no sell item according to the rules.

I also ended up with many "weird" items that you wouldn't want to send to a church sale, lol.
