    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Now that the nice weather is finally here I've been splitting my time between scrapping, cleaning my yard, and pricing landscape jobs. Oh yeah, and drinking beer. Sometimes vodka, usually Bourbon, but mostly beer.

Just wondering what hair of the dog you guys rely on when it's time to wind down and imbibe. Tonight I found a really good microbrew India Pale Ale calle Duggan's #9. It's 6.2% and has a spicy smell, but a really sweet aftertaste. I could easily spend a couple of hours stripping wire these beers at the ready.

When I get time my preferred is Shiner Bock. But the older I get the more I think Hank Jr was right. Ice tea seems to go great with anything.

There's some truth to Hank there. I don't like to spend my money, call everybody honey, but my house fell unusually quiet tonight so I'm enjoying a few bottles of President's Choice Pilsener and catching up on posts here and elsewhere.

Probably only average 2-4 drinks per week. There is always a bottle of Jim and a bottle of Crown on the shelf, with Mello Yello to tame it, and always cold Corona in the fridge. Folgers gets me through the day....52 ouncer twice a day.

Just starting to explore the Red wine area. Going with a Merlot... never knew you had to "aerate" red wine. Its nice once you do.

Well, my neighbor and i rallied it last night.

    Little bit of backstory...

We were cleaning up a guys property that was moving. He handed us a jug of what he called shine. We didnt believe him, simply because its hard to find any good shine this side of the mason/dixon.

Well, after we polished off our pbr, we decided to flame test it. Opened the jug, poured a bit on the fire, and BOOM.

Each had 3 pulls and that was that haha.

I tell ya what, im feelin' it today.

A pot of coffee untill8:30/9 or so. Unsweetened iced tea until about 2ish, then I will move onto beer. I think I have Fat Tire and Sam Adams Winterboch in the fridge. After dinner I'll do a couple fingers of Irish Whiskey and finish up with a glass of merlot. Tomorrow, Rinse repeat.
