I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
the first and last one I love, but I do feel that the Cummings is the better motor of chevy an ford, easy to work on..easy to add more power and they just ****ing go like a damm rocket (just got to keep the damm heads clamped down)

Yea...why "fix" something that's not broke...if it worked and still works...keep it...

Don't worry the gap is only an inch..it will work

My 04 Ram 3500 still uses a solid fron axle. Pretty sure the brand new Dodge 2500/3500s do too. Could be mistaken... like you said it gets the job done well so why change it!
