Burt, the friend zone is somewhere you never want to be, ever. It is equivalent to being a significant other with none of the for say physical perks lol. Basically all the work with no reward. Stuck as a friend when you wish for more and the other wants nothing else. From what is said there's only one way out of the friend zone and it is almost impossible to achieve.
