Making a video for attention, now who would do that? Not very self serving is it? I wonder who?

Disagree on selling whole on the cell phones. Some of us would prefer to cut out the middle buyer, an go straight to a refiner(toll mind you, not the big ones).

Just saying.. An yes, I agree on the attention. I'm being nice here, really..hence refraining after my first two posts.

Two things in life that good sellers...sex an stupidity. You can figure out which of the ones in those options for voting use which.

Sirscrapalot - Youtube...a constant source of laughter for me.

"Daisy Dukes" and "just pull" and "Thanks for checking me out". I saw nothing sexy there just an innocent young lady making a honest living (I think).

I know this is an old thread, but I feel compelled to give a "Thumbs up!" to Moose Scrapper. I've really learned a lot from his videos. And inspired me enough to get started doing this as a hobby, AND to find this wonderful site!

I agree. Learned a lot from him and Mike and ended up here.
I'm officially changing my vote. I vote for me! Been here for 16 months reading, learning and scrapping. Never made a youtube video but I've been thinking about it but I need to stop by goodwill first and buy me a black tank top and some cool jorts.

I'm not going to select one the the candidates from which I'm given to choose from, because not one even comes close to the person I have met and done business with over the years to be not only the best scrapper but a businessman with smarts as well.

Ed Jackson started out with a half ton pick up truck and a wheel barrow on two acres of reservation land that he rented from the local natives. Ed worked that small holding into a group of companies called the Amix Group.

From the first start up in Penticton reservation land he moved to Surrey B.C. to start up Amix Salvage yet again on leased Indian land, he recently sold the scrap yard to the Simms Group but kept the river works, yes Ed may have sold the scrap yard but he still hauls the Simms scrap to Oregon on barges that he owns.

Ed started up the marine part of the group of business's to haul his scrap to Oregon on large barges the first Tugboat he purchased was renamed to the General Jackson.

From hauling scrap the marine business grew into marine salvage, then another group Amix Heavy Lift, they have cranes capable of lifting 600 tons.

The crane on the barge is the Arctic Tuk and it can lift 600 tons.

Ed Jackson is the best I've met.
