News, vintage cars found in lake

Man saw some news earlier today, Foss Lake Oklahoma. Somebody was testing out some sonar equipment, found two cars in this lake, and old fifties chevy and a 69 camaro, they pulled them out 5 or 6 bodies, they think there from some missing persons, from the early 60's and the early 70's. least maybe the families will know now instead of just wondering.

Saw it last night, 69 Camaro had the bodies of 3 high school students that were on their way to a ball game when they went missing in1970 and the 50's Chevy had the bodies of a married couple that went missing.

Wow so sad crazy how 2 cars go in the same lake at the same spot a decade apart.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

I just saw this when checking on recent news, how sad. Yet, at least this will give the families some closure.

There are lots of cars in lots of lakes. Surprising that there are only 2 in that one.

How did they get there? Drive off a corner overlooking the lake or something?

Ice fishing is a lot harder to do in the summer. It takes a lot of practice.

In regards to why these tragedies happened, I still am in the dark.

All I was able to find on Google, at least on Sept 19th, was that they were located about 50 feet beyond the end of a boat launch. That makes both car accidents look like suicides?

Does anyone know if the lakeshore has changed over the years? It is called a "reservoir" or something like that.

    Jon.
