It took almost 35 years to remember this

One of my school friends Mother died a few days ago & it gave me a little more time to think about the family. Dieings sorta sad, but it does tend to happen & they lived a great life, great kids who went on to do something & make another generation of good kids.

So thats good, I actually feel more sad when a animal dies.

But when I was about 7 our family went to a BBQ at their place. At one point the Father, noticing someone dropped a ciggy ash on the floor, said "Don't worry, my red haired vacuum cleaner will get that later".

I gotta say at this point, the Mother looked a lot like Lucille Ball, but had a sharp tounge, dominaring fairness & wit, without the crazyness of Lucille.

Next morning, the Fathers woken up in bed with a full bucket of freezing cold water &

"Remember this, I might be your Red haired vacuum cleaner, but I'm also your Red haired alarm clock"
    ------------

Thanks for this chance to tell you. /e
