I brought that up a cuple of weeks ago. but most are too busy make a few dollars. or setting on the couch drinking food stamp pepsi and eating food stamp potato chips to care where the billions are going.
sry to be so blunt but sometimes the truth hurts.

I've heard this before, several times. While I really don't give much credence to Wedimier, there are signs of potential trouble in the stock market.
1. The big money is selling stocks (as indicated in this article).
2. Big money is moving to commodities.
3. The rise in the stock market, overall, is due to speculation - buying stocks short-term and selling for whatever profit - rather than investing based on the strength of the company. At some point, the smart buyers will stop buying (see #1) and prices will crash to attract buyers (re: the dot-com bubble and housing bubble). Those holding stocks in these companies will be "jumping out windows" (It's actually already happening. The suicide rate for middle-aged people is at record level. This may be one reason.)
I saw an example of this Saturday. A millionaire scrap yard owner paid for than market value to get every strand of wire at an auction I went to. I doubt he got to be a multi-millionaire by throwing his money away.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I'm saving all my silver and gold even e-waste for this reason. If it does happen gold will be worth a lot. I work a full time job so I'm lucky to have this option.

A little historical note,
On Manhattan Island, in colonial New York, hogs were allowed to roam free, and became all but wild. They soon got out of hand, rampaging through grain fields until farmers were forced to build a rock wall to keep them out. The street running along this wall became known as Wall Street. Funny thing this wall should been built on hog doo, and merely covered over with substandard whitewashed plaster.
There are other, even moreso telling articles about this subject(including this very wall), the source of which is not allowed on todays forums ; )
