    ssd drives

Is anyone using a ssd drive as ther primary drive? I have been thinking about upgrading to a ssd for a primary drive and using the 1tb that came with my computer just for file storage. 128gb ssds have come down in price to around $100. 64gb ones are down around $60. Im thinking that $60 is a small price to pay for the performance gains and quietness and energy savings that the drive will produce. I think the technology has improved and the prices have come down to the point that its worth it to do so.

Guys here swear by Samsung SSD's. The boot up time and access time are next to nothing. I will look at them when I purchase a newer PC.

Im looking for a sata 3 ssd, they are backward capable with sata 2. That way if i get a new computer in the future that has sata 3 i i will still be good with it. Well worth the extra $10.
