This actually happened to me c2 years ago after spending over $10,000 in efficiency up grades.

When I see a new Ford Mustang at the recycling center cashing in 4 pounds of aluminum cans.
.60 x 4 = 2.40.
Gallon of gas is $3.49.
Sounds like a winning proposition.

Haha. If I see people picking through my cans, I'm going to ask them where they sell plastics, 'cause that's all they're going to find.
Ya the same happens to me and I kind of feel bad because they are going to make $0 from the plastics and glass in my recycle bin.
