So I got an electric wheelchair, and also what I assume is a obese person lift, it looks like an engine hoist which was very useful to get the chair in and out of the back of my truck, I will save this hoist to load heavy barrels of scrap instead of blowing out my shoulder. Anyhow after a little rigging of the chair it seems to work. What is cool is it is missing the entire chair portion but still has the controller, and everything else needed to function I sat on a box on top of the batteries and rode out! I have already thought about re-gearing it, but I read that there is a way to re-program the controller for a little higher speed. It has a place I could easily mount a computer chair but I want to do something cooler, I even thought about a lazy boy but this is more up my alley.
Anyone messed with these before? Got any cool ideas?
