You wont have any luck selling the plastic shredded. And the bales have to be 800-1000lbs for any serious buyers to be interested. Just want to give you a heads up...

In the interest of fairness, since you have two and we have none here, you ought to send one a packing up to Canada

In the last month I've thrown away almost 1000 lbs of mixed. Still looking.

.04 is better than shred here.

I was wrong. Shred is .05 a lb.

I've tried to give it away but nobody wants it. All of the recycling facilities around here use to take all plastic 1-7. Now they just want #1 and #2 plastic so all of mine ends up in the landfill.

I just took in another 150 lbs @ .04/lb to free up space in my storage locker. I can't stand going to this place because of the customer service sucks. After I dropped all the plastic and 35 lbs of low grade board .12/lb, they cut me a check for a little over $11. The guy came over and handed me my check like I was so pathetic for bringing all that for $11.30. I almost want to not even give them my business.

Folks in my area (Milwaukee area) I can take your ABS plastic for FREE. It has to be clean with absolutely no metal. I have a local outlet but as pointed out above, it has to be baled and bales have to be 60" in length and weigh at least 800 pounds. And then...it is only 4 cents or so a pound.

I wish I was able to get .04 for ABS. There is a place about 40 miles from me that takes it for free so I have brought about 1.5 tons there over the course of a year so at least it would stay out of a landfill.

I believe the price is .06 or .07/lb if white plastic is sorted and by itself.
