    Wood chipper for plastics?

I know someone bought a small wood chipper on here to use for plastics. Did you ever try it? I've got my eye on one to use for chipping plastics but I'm not sure how it will work. Anyone tried this? Any other alternatives? And no I don't want to break it up with a sledgehammer!

i also considered this to handle my ABS plastic i get from appliances and such. i would like to be able to chip it and sell it, but the plastics recyclers around here dont really want anything less than 5 tons. i would do it, but i dont have storage space to hold my plastic until i have 10,000lbs of it.

also, there is an issue with sorting it by color. some processors want the white with the white, the black with the black, and the orange with the orange and so on...

Theres a website about a guy who melts plastic in a kiln & condenses the vapors into a drum & uses it as fuel.

I haven't got that far yet.
