Some places buy old carpet and the under padding . Anyone doing home restorations or demos can get paid for it and not have to use your dumpster space . Hobo did you know fleece is made from plastic ? I'm still surprised .

Anyway, in keeping with the thread, you can sell decent, natural cork to Yemm & Hart in Missouri.

reBounces has a free mail-in service for old tennis balls.

When I checked, these people were buying golf balls.

Lastly, for those of us dealing with digital projectors/projection TV's, these guys will send you a prepaid label for your mercury lamps.

Leads on buyers for vintage eyewear much appreciated, though.

A buddy of mine does flooring work off of craigslist, and the extra carpeting he takes to Carpet City where they have a semi truck you can unload it too. He said they get paid by the lbs., wonder how much....

I was looking into carpet/pad/foam recyclers and noticed a few in the Wisconsin area, especially near Dane county (wherever that is, specifically).
