Can you recycle lined kraft paper?

    Hi,

I wanted to know if you can recycle kraft paper lined with aluminum. I haven't been able to find a precise answer online and would appreciate one.

Only thing that turns up on Google is plastic lined Kraft envelopes ...
    Picture please?

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but if what you are describing is just heavy paper glued to metal foil, couldn't you soak it in water to separate ?

The answer is "no." Not as paper, not as aluminum. Multi-layer packaging is the Ebola of recycling.

I would throw my dirty aluminum in the kraft sack and take it in.
