    theres money in balls .

I was walking my dog . And there is a park 2 blocks away where there is a tennis court where people seem to play tennis more then anything else . And when they hit the balls out of court they never go to pick them up . My puppy picked one up and brought it to me . I thought to myself i wonder if there is any value in used tennis balls ?. Nah im thinking . Sure enough i get home look on ebay and sure enough they are selling used in lots for some high dollars . I wont get rich but rome wasnt built in a day . And its something for me and my old man to do on slow days.

I acquired a few bags of used golf balls and broke them down to smaller bags and they sold like hot cakes at our yard sale.

I know there is a guy that sells golf balls by the half dozen just outside one of the local public courses here. $8 for six balls. He gets the ones that go over a fence and into a drainage ditch across the road from one of the holes. Takes them home, cleans them and sells them.

A couple of years ago I used to collect golf balls but nobody around here bought them so I quit. Yeah there is a creek through the golf course that leads into the woods -thats where I went. You could go every week and fill a 5 gallon bucket. Sometimes a branch or something would fall across the creek and most of the balls would pile up there around 20+

Perhaps you could place a floating device in the stream and check it regularly. Might add some income. Mike

When I was younger, my grandfather worked at a golf course, so I got to learn the game. I was allowed to keep all the balls that I found, an would sell them in the parking lot. LOL. Like a lemonade stand!

I think I was selling them for like 6 for 3. I was young, what did I know. Easy money as I was collecting them anyway to hit off the range.

Those things are expensive these days. I priced some a year or so back, an said to hell with it an bought 4 5 gallon buckets of them from a yard sale for a buck. lol.

Still got'm to! Not had time to hit the course.

Sirscraplot - Yes, the cooler comes a long when I hit the links.

At a $1 you dont need a course. just tee them up off the cooler into the giant salt lake in front of your house

    I've thought about it!

Might just do it once the season starts to wind down. Cheaper to! No cart fee's!
