    Tire scrapping in new jersey

    Is there any money in recycling tires in new jersey?? If so how much is paying now and where would i go?

    Good tires (i.e with tread, no belt showing, no broken belts) can be sold on CL or find a small mom & pop garage that will buy them. I average $15 per decent used tire on CL, and $7 bucks from my mom & pop if they don't sell there. Best I have come up with so far.
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    i don"T know where you are in mi but humbolt tire (spelling think there is a d in there ) pays for good tires to 45% tread depth
