    >Perhaps APA the forums most knowledgeable cat buyer will step up to the challenge, his good will would show the world what this forum is all about, scrappers helping one another.

Try sending him a direct message. Just posting it in a forum post he might not ever see it unless he stumbles upon this forum post by chance. If you direct message him (even just to say hey can you look at this forum post) it might get his attention.

I know nothing about cat. converters, so am of no use unfortunately.

But also... this is a forum of people who are on here by choice, to offer help when they can and if they want to. Saying things like "Waiting for someone to answer me!" seems rude, you're not owed an answer by anyone on anything. I am sure when he or someone with cat. knowledge sees the post, they will answer!

I'm not about to send APA a private comm, I do not do business with people who have to hide behind a veil of secrecy which arouses ones suspicion of deceit.

We often hear from forum members claiming to have received excellent prices from APA, whats to say these transactions are not loss leaders.

    Below replace "discount" with bait.

Same deal with those bags of river gravels ( Pay Dirt ) people buy in hopes of finding a few flakes of gold, the most rewarding sales the seller is able to make go to some forum member.

The member receives a salted bag, he brags on the forum of his good fortune - cheap promo for the seller.

Loss Leaders: When you know that certain products are in demand. Whether it's a luxury item like an iPad or everyday need like undergarments, you can provide certain products at a steep discount to draw new customers to your store. Known as loss leaders, these products are great for selling overstocked items, increasing traffic to your store, and generating brand awareness.

Its ironic that you warn me that I might get sued (for telling the truth) but here you are making negative statements about me.

If I have tried to pull any “loss leaders”, “salted bags”, “veil of secrecy” or “deceit” to any forum members, please let me know. I am not that type of person and I don’t do business that way.

My good will shows the world what this forum is all about, scrappers HELPING one another.

I am paying $16 per lb on domestic foils and $21 per lb on foreign foils. Just trim to about 1”
of the foil, no need to de-can the foil material. This is my price as of today, market conditions may make the price go up or down.

Peace and love to all the GOOD members.

In the link you have here, I am one of the people commenting, as it is on E-waste, which I know some about. I saw it, I know about it, I commented. My point was not that prices should not be discussed in the open. They should be. My point was that posting "Waiting for someone to answer me" probably will not get you very far. I wasn't saying send him a message to discuss prices in secret, in fact I suggested direct messaging him, just to alert him to this post here ,where you are asking the question. I doubt he goes on and read through every single post, every single day, and was just suggesting that alerting him to the existence of your question might get you a faster answer than just throwing it out there and then hoping someone with cat. knowledge sees it (and getting impatient when someone doesn't and posting "Waiting for someone to answer me").

Apa gives you quote up front with no obligation to sell.....ive sold him some and had no issues.....honestly unless cats are your main business just easier to sell them whole than going thru all the chemical processes of trying to recover precious metals.....same with computer boards

With the spread in our dollars this makes for an ideal situation for any Canadian to be selling on eBay and elsewhere. Bring on the gold.
I do understand how it all works........Pay-pal screws us Americans on conversion rates

I have made a lot of mistakes and I am far from perfect. I have lost a lot of money at certain times but it teaches you valuable lessons.

Your Dodge is an old diesel converter. It’s basically worthless and contains zero Rhodium. The picture is a “foil” with the spiral.
