    Washing Machine $$

Usually when I pick up washers and dryers I find change in the bottom when taking it apart. Well today I was out and I grabbed a top loading washer. I opened the lid to check inside, and there sitting in the drum was a $50 bill. It was a clean bill, it had been through the wash, and I couldn't pull it apart. I closely examined it, and found that there was 3 $50 symbols on the corner....and it was upside down....hmmm looks like I have two 50's . As I continued taking it apart I found a quarter. So today I made $100.25 without going to the recycler

I put the bills in a bag and will send them off to the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing to be examined and torn apart.

My assumption is that the money was under the agitator, so when I took it out of my van, it slid down.

Moral of the story: CHECK YOUR JUNK BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL FIND!

That is true, but I would never trust sending it off. Most places will take slightly ripped currency.
