    Air conditioners

I NEED MORE WINDOW AIR CONDITIONERS. We've been having a heat wave (80's) the last couple days and expected to last a few more days. I had two window air conditioners I'd replaced and put on Craig's List. Sold one a couple weeks ago, another going tomorrow and just got an email wanting a third. We don't get a lot of hot days up here but when we do, the humidity is terrible.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Tried a portable one? I had one uptil last year for a backup. Originally got it cause the condo we moved into the ac broke. Handy little bugger, paid for itself many times over.

Got mine on sale from Home Depot or Lowe's I forget for like 149. Would keep whatever room we were in cold. Not good if trying to cool down a very large room though.

If you find one second hand or decide it's worth the expenditure, you should get one.

Got two. One is an air conditioner that draws air from the outside but is portable and not so heavy. The second is actually an air cooler we put in the bedroom. It blows air across two ice packs. Both do a pretty good job.

Humidity is the best part... It makes you sweat more...when you sweat more, you're more wet so when you stand in front of a fan, you're much more cooler...

I think...It's always high humidty here in Texas

Or you can make your own Air Conditioners.
