I wonder if this lady has yet told her husband that she just gave away his compressor.

Which is why I always get a signature from the customer stating they own or have the right to dispose of the item.

Great business advice here! I wouldn't be surprised if the husband calls looking for it.

Once had a landlord call to clean out a vacant property. Dropped some really good stuff off at auctions. The tenant, who had disappeared and been unreachable for about 45 days, came looking for stuff I had already sold. I was really glad I had that signed document, even though they so far haven't pressed the issue.

Love those unexpected hits a younger guy in his early 20s that has helped me part time before told me his grandfather had a computer repair shop in the early 90s and that he had a barn almost completely full of old towers. Trust me I thought he was just telling me a good story turns out we visit his grandfather one day not only was he not telling a story but he left out in his description that the barn, the garage, and 2 more small utility sheds were stocked full took me 2 weeks worth of pick ups after gettin off at my full time job talk about a happy camper !
