Is plotter another name for Printer?

How did you determine they were worth more?

yes and no, a plotter is an industrial sized printer, generally used for printing things like blueprints

do an ebay/internet search of the boards you get in, the model number of the board is all you need

I see that some sell for a pretty good penny....but got a quick question (when dont I! )

I was noticing good prices on ebay with and without all the stuff still attached or packaged with it (cpu, ram, fan, heatsink etc)

I was also noticing several with just the board and nothing else (no ram, cpu, headsink, etc)

Also, I would imagine they sell as long as you can test them to ensure they work right? Or are you checking them all regardless?

Looking at completed listing you might have a chance to sell the first one. Second one dont look to good.

GEO you can sell broken crap on ebay. But if you sell it as anything other than for parts and it doesnt work just get ready for the return.

I dont test anything, i do take returns and issue full refunds though. The way i look at it, 15% in shipping and fees is a small gamble to make for a possible sale. I also price everything atleast 30% below the going rate so it moves quickly.

I was curious about that too. If so, congratulations on your success. It takes some serious time/work/effort to get a feedback score like that.

thanks for starting the discussion on this, I've had both of those boards go through my hands in the past few months, never occurred to me to sell them on ebay. I'm anxious to see if you get any action. Feebay is such a time-consuming thing. I think about it when I get an item I might sell, usually I just say to heck with it and toss the item in whatever bin it goes. May give it a shot next time I get a decent printer board.

...so if an item doesn't function properly, do you give a full refund and then pay again to ship the item back to you? or do you give a full refund, eat the Ebay fees, and let them keep the item? I am intrigued by your idea of not testing anything...

Red you just sell it as is broken not working for parts and let them take the gamble. A lot of people trying to get a machine up and running will buy a board if they need it hoping it will work.
