my story is well documented here.........I am a true alcoholic and drug addict who has been clean for over eight years now.......Only three things it leads to.....jails, institutions, and death.......I made it to the first two and was on my way to the third.........Some people can drink or use drugs in moderation for recreational purposes but I cannot.......Hope this helps you have a better understanding and if anyone feels they are struggling with any type of addiction I'm willing to talk but until you truly reach "ROCK BOTTOM" you will never quit.......With that said everyone's rock bottom can be different........For me it was prison for a housewife it could be a DUI.......Either way my door is always open

It's good to hear stories like yours Mikeinreco. Working in Corrections you see a lot of addicts go through treatment but in this line of work you either never see them again which is good or they come back which is not good. Meeting someone that has been in the system and got out and stayed out is great. Good story and keep up the good work. If I am proud of you I can only imagine how proud the people that care about you are.
