I'm a newbie to scrapping ad heres my story !

I started scrapping about a week ago and ive already made 8 to 10 trips to cimco and i've made a a few hundred bucks. I drive a 1999 dodge Dakota sport so i can't hold to much weight heaviest load was 820 and i was paranoid the whole ride. so it's been 500lbs loads mostly for $50 here$ 60 here my largest load was 1200 but i had to pull it in with a friends trailer and truck .(i dont have a hitch ) i dont like doing that because i had to share the profit when i did all the work, beside for hauling it in but oh well. as i said im a newbie. I am also 17 so i can't exactly be out at 2 am for me i enjoy doing this but i feel like Ive been making so many hauls because im in a good area but am afraid the scrapping will slow down and i don't know what ill do when that happens. my question with my story is that what advice can you more experienced scrappers tell me ??
p.s ive made $300 and spent 100 in gas is that reasonable??? also though im not making friends with scrappers ive already been yelled at for stealing "their" haul when its sitting on the side of the road and also yelled at by scrappers who tell me that they"saw things first and its theirs even though since i have a smaller truck and faster v6 manuel haha any advice on what to do with them and any tip on what to do with my scraping and i'll keep posting my scraping haul's!!

I mean the guy has is up over a bank a little off the road and it looks like a dumpsite... Ain't doing that again lol.
