i dont have a copper scorpion
but i picked up this today:
    its a 100l copper geyser

    im a plumber by trade
but i actually prefer doing scrap

so when i was called to check a faulty geyser, i killed two birds with one stone
i installed a new high pressure geyser
    and pulled out this baby

the tank alone weighs approx 40lbs
its not much but sure does look nice.

What is a geyser? Here in the states, down south anyway...that would be a moonshine stil.

Glad you guys all like it. I should have put something in the pic (like a pop can) so you could gage the size better. The tail is probably 1/4 inch thick wire, if that helps any. Probably weighs a pound.

Wish I could say I made it. Was given to me by a young man at one of the places I clean up. He said Mexicans taught him how to make it when he was working in Texas. Lol.

Edit: Thank you Mechanic 688 or parrot, or admin for moving this to "Made from Scrap"
I think I originally posted it under "more than scrap value" Made from scrap makes more sense.

In NZ, its called a 'hot water cylinder'. In the early days, and in some house setups, there's a way to heat the water from a fireplace or a coal range, using a 'wetback'. (Which I know from experience is hillarious to you Americans)

When they first started using electricity to heat the water, often they just added a shorter version of the cylinder above the first one and called it a 'superheater'.

Nice Scorpion, it impresses me when I see stuff like that. I have the artistic ability of a lead fishing sinker.
