Those are beautiful ! Whats the average weight? Do you do special orders like names and other designs?

Thanks for that common sense informative post, Jon, and thanks for stressing safety. I DO want to cut the dozen or so tanks that I have on hand and more to be found and don't want to come back online someday with the name KBOOM without eyelashes. I will read the thread you provided from the engineering forum. It's not so much that I need to cut these tanks, it's more of a "I want to prove I can do it" type of thing.....and that's where curiosity killed the cat.

I'm keeping these threads for future reference and reminders. Now to find me a gas tester. Meanwhile back on the ranch, I'm hauling farm machinery this week as no snow cover in Nebraska although the price droopped by $25 last weekend.

They shouldn't be too heavy for shipping and hard for the FedX jockeys to destroy.

The big ones are typically 100lb and the 30 inch pits 50-75lbs depending on how much is cut away.
