BC, I was pulling all the pushbuttons off the low grade stuff I had and they had a little disk inside with one side gold and the other side looked silver, seemed like every one was that way. Are they gold flashed or just anodized??

TBD, what I am doing now is keeping everything including the small housing which when you remove the disk also has metal in it. I believe that too is going to be silver. The disk could also be copper making contact with the metal (silver or gold). I have never seen gold or silver have any anodizing on it. Silver is one of the best conductors of electrical current with gold close behind so covering them with something would not make sense. I am awaiting a test kit so as soon as I know I will post results of my findings.
Keep putting in the oh crap its whatever buckets for now.
