The motherload of motherloads! (hopefully) 21 skids of electronics!

So, I got a call earlier today, and was unable to answer it. Gentlemen left me a voicemail, and I called back, and now waiting for his return phone call.

Anyways, he left me a voice mail, and I listened to it at least 10 times to ensure I heard it correctly.

He is wanting to dispose of 21 SKIDS of electronics!!!

Not sure if he is looking for someone to buy it, or he is looking for a cheaper person to dispose of it, etc. Will find all that out when he calls back.

As long as he is not looking for someone to buy it from him, this will be my BIGGEST score yet as far as ewaste goes.

Right now, I am coming up with hopeful, possible suggestions on where to store 21 skids at. I might be seeing if my father in law's landlord for his body shop has some empty warehouse space he is willing to rent me for a month or so.

And if that doesnt work, then they will go into the backyard and will just have to go through 3 or 4 skids a day as fast as possible lol.

If he wants to sell don't say no, ask if you can go over and take a look just to see what he has. I would only buy if it was all computer stuff and then I wouldn't pay to much. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Well normally around here, companies pay big bucks to ensure that all the hardware and machines are fully destroyed, dismantled.

Depending on what he wants done, will really depend if we have a deal or not. Can only hope for the best.

It can be all tv's but he will definitely pay to remove them all too lol

Unfortunately not yet. He is apparently a busy man, I am guessing. But I am not leaving him anymore messages. I will keep calling till I get him, good or bad.

So I FINALLY get a hold of the guy. Come to find out, it is NOT computers or servers BUT **** printers and fax machines and roughly 16 or so of them from what he said.

Not a total waste as I have 2 yards that will take them. I just need to figure out if it is worth tearing them down for the boards inside, or saying F it and turning it all in as shed.

Better news is, it is free.

Pull those toner cartridges and look them up for reuse value. I can't remember the website that buys them and pays for shipping.

    SELL US YOUR EMPTIES!

Looks like the other site in the above post Ecycle is better as they pay shipping. But it is at least some other price list to look at!
