    Contracts

I know many of the older members have done many things in their life, including government contracts and large business contracts. I have a certain facility that will be taking bids for services I offer. Can anyone give me some tips on submitting bids, especially when submitted online? How thorough do I need to be? Is it just "Here's what I do and my price". Should I give a copy of my insurance and a w-9 with the bid? Any help will be.........helpful, lol Thanks
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Given this is online bidding it infers that it is a low priority for the person in charge, therefore a split decision on their part. I would provide your LLC # and insurance to ensure you are a reputable company. If you really want the job, I would try to create a way to meet the individual personally. A secretary, janitor, or security person would be very helpful in this regard. I have met several CEO's of Fortune 500 companies through these contacts. BTW, these were the references I contacted when seeking new employees.

One example was during negotiations with a corporation I visited all of their apartment buildings wearing my cowboy hat. I just followed a renter inside and wandered around and the security cameras caught me on tape. That had their entire security department (and occupants) talking how someone broke into their buildings. This got back to the CEO. When I met him I was wearing my hat and was hired after shaking his hand.

Long story short, be creative and meet the individual. That means more than money to most people. Good luck.

Thank you! This was very helpful. I actually went to Iraq with a security guard at this facility, so that should be helpful. Thanks again.
