Lightbulb **New ewaste recycling company in South Florida. (I need help, advise, and ideas)**

    Hello everyone,

I have been doing major research for about 3 months now on a startup company in the South Florida are for an ewaste recycling company.
I am currently in the early stages of setting up a website for marketing and advertising purposes. I have made several contacts with people in the industry, however I would like to expand my knowledge and experience allot more. Hopefully this Forum will help.

Currently my bottleneck is collecting large volumes of computers to disassemble. I need help with that. Also, as far as pricing goes, what does one pay someone for a computer unit that they bring in to me, or that we pick to make this profitable.
And finally how much should I get paid for selling the scrap parts of a computer (CPUs, motherboards, memory, power supplies, optical drives, etc.
I would also like to recycle printers, monitors, and electronics. We have experience in both computers and TV scraps as far as disassembly goes.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Well, all that info is free here. Just grab a beer and start reading. Especially in the electronics recycling section. Buyers have a section at the top of the forum with their prices listed.
