Wink A new face to look at!...

Hello there!, I'm Dylan and I've been a part-time scrapper for about 2-3 months. It all started back only a few months ago when I decided not to go back to college and I was having a ruff time getting a job. So I started scrapping but when you have 6 grand of debt to pay off you can't do that fast in the type of hoarding small town I live in. But when all else fails, go back to other people you know; networking pays off. I called up a Hatchery I used to work at in the summer, got a full time job, only down-side is you can only put in 999 hours max per year. I also contacted one of my substitute teachers that DJs on the side. Got onto his crew so it looks like most of my Saturday nights will be spent behind the DJ booth. I recently decided to take one of my old mowing jobs back too. Be aware I live in a small town, and I used to mow about 10-15 yards on the side after work for extra money. So once people got work I accepted to mow Jane Doe's yard they started contacting me "Oh hey, I heard you're mowing yards again, if you wanna pick up another you know where I live." So now I've got 3 jobs plus scrapping, hoping I can pay off the debt fast so I can save up to move. Haven't decided if I want to move and go to school or join the military. If I join I will be trying for U.S. Army Ranger/Airborne.

Edit - The scrapping I do the most is E-Scrapping, but I also do a lot of different tear downs. I have yet to have a big haul of anything, mostly just junk people want to get rid of so I offer to get rid of it for them. So I break it down and put it into different bins and wait for it to get to a decent amount then cash in. My dream in life is to one day own a little 4-5 acre farm and own my own Salvage Yard.

Welcome to to forum. I am in the military myself, we always need a few good men, and remember, the Army will pay back your student loans..... if that is your debt. Good luck in whatever you choose to do. With three jobs you could get all that paid off pretty quickly if you are super focused!
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.
