My names gary,people call me mongo or sasquatch, live in hudson, fl (just north of tampa). joined the site to really learn more on the electronic scrapping scene. been doing the normal scrapping for about a year now and it's been good to me. nice to know there is some fellow scrappers out there willing to provide advice and tips not just dirty looks lol

One Steel and work, not to worry I don't beat the streets for scrap it is a byproduct of my job.

Best yard I have ever used! I love there computer system, makes going to the yard much less of a hassle and they are polite.
Picking seems pretty slim these days!

Hello and wellcome to the forum. I'm just east of hudson, off shaddy hills rd. I just moved here from st. petersburg last summer. Still use the yards down thiere but gas is getting to high to keep driving down thiere. If you don't mind me asking where is one steel? Shore would like to find a yard with prices as good as in st. pete.

Happy I mentioned it in another thread, but One Steel is on Hicks Rd.
It just changed hands not to long ago, it is top notch as far as being professional goes! (Hopefully making brownie point here!)
I remember when it was Bill's Place, that was years ago!
St. Pete is a long ride unless you have a good amount! Are they paying that much better?
Sasquatch; I like that better! I take it you are of a smaller frame type fella... Lol
I have been looking to network a little as far as ewaste goes. There is a market here but will take much work to exercise it proper.

Mongo, I'm sorry for high jacking your thread but to answer Joe's post, don.t have that much going down but I still have some accounts in st. pete and i try to take something with me when i go. Also do mostly ewaste, been taking my ewast boards to tampa.

lol i aint a lil fella. but you might have seen me at one steel before i drive a lil green dakota say's redneck romeo on the windsheild (everyone usually gets a kick out of that) and to happy scrapper i goto my parents a few times a week right off shady hills road lol small world. but you can use central recycling on county line idk what their prices are, i know they paid most for brass a while back by almost 30 cents/lb. biggest load came from them at 3800 dollars on old water meterswish i could hit a load like that again.
