I Would Like to Properly Introduce Myself

I joined this board several days ago and went ahead and started a thread where I soon learned that I am supposed to make and introduction. Where shall I start?...
I am originally from Columbus Ohio but lived in Athens Ohio for five years where I attended the Ohio University and earned my B.S. in Hospitality Administration. I guess you could say that I'm a chef by trade and love to cook but am sick of the business and for the past nine months have been exploring recycling as an alternative career path.
I really enjoy all aspects of this industry--compositional analysis of materials, physical labor involved, making my own hours and the sense of ownership and excitement with each new deal that I make.
I would like to take this time to thank the scrap community for welcoming me into their circle and would appreciate any help/advice from the seasoned individuals who know this business so well and are willing to share their unique knowledge with a young, cocky novice who still has a lot of learning to do!
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to help other people such as myself out. You truly make the world a more enjoyable place!

Good place to start. Welcome to the Forum, Mikey.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
