    Hi from Florida

    Hello Everyone,
well I have been hanging around for a couple days now and thought it is time to say something. We have been doing a lot of leg work at the time and brining in some small loads of scrap. But mainly collecting good escrap. Now it is bring to find out where to sell all the stuff for good prices. Seen some of you buy this so feel free to PN me. So far we got 40 Desktops, 100+ Networking Computers, lots of Printers, Keyboards, and so on. Now the important thing is to get a constant flow of items. But we are working on that.
We are lucky that in our town, we are able to sell Paper, Cardboard and even plastic. All are not the big Dollar items, but heh every bit counts and it is gone.
We are set up with 2 Trucks and starting to build a couple Trailers to through the sorted stuff in (at least the mass Material). We are 3 People looking to run this whole system.

Thanks for the forum, lots of information on it.
    Mike

We are down in Fort Myers.
I have already found Easy & Ewasted. Any local (within Florida) tips for the good high weight items (power supplies, CDrom Drives, ...) would also be great help.

CD roms pull the boards and sell them. The rest of the carcas you can pull the motors if you want but I just throw it in shred. I do the same with power supplies. Cut the wires off throw the rest in shred. there is a yard local that pays $.15 per pound but not worth the drive for .05 a pound.

Some of the ewaste buyers will buy the power supplies with wires cut off, and will buy the floppy drives whole. Boardsort pays .29 a lb for power supplies. Some one just talked about a buyer in Florida, maybe 123. If you have a buyer within driving distance then I would sell them the power supplies rather than throwing them in a steel pile.

I'm sorry, but the posts on this thread from today made me laugh. This is a very old thread, and the guy hasn't posted for over a year.
