Hello everyone new to e scraping

Hello Conrad here, I own a computer repair store in jacksonville flordia. We just recently started e scraping the broken parts that we get daily through the store. Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I happened across the site after being hosed really bad on my first test run at a refiner. We sent 75 pounds of motherboards 2 pounds cpus 2.5 pounds ram 3.5 punds pci/pciexpress/agp card to them. Refiner was supposed to give me 82 percent of the amount of gold, silver, copper in the form of a check after the material was refined at the current spot price. I got a check for $70 dollars. Im not an experts but $70? Has anyone here been in this situation before? And what if anything can I do about it? sorry for the winded intro thank you everyone

This is the refiner I used: cashforelectronicscrapusa.com. Has anyone here used them before?

I used a forum member here and ended up donating it all (I think the right term is "got robbed". That past member was in the process of going out of business and I happened to get caught up in the rush. Involved was a pickup load of processed electronic scrap. Now days I just throw the stuff in a car body and it goes to the crusher. Too much work and bother for little pay.

On-farm gathering of machinery, vehicles, shop items etc. is my preference and today's prices make it fun. At age 73, I take along another kid (he's 74) and I tell people it's better to go out in pairs. That way there is someone to call the coroner if need be. I fell off a car body that was stuck in a tree last week while holding a lit acetylene torch. Burning hair smells like burning chicken feathers in case you didn't know. I was lucky.....just got a partial beard trimming and a rash on my neck.

Well, in the "in case you didn't know" file, NEVER! EVER! NEVER! Throw a snakeskin on a fire. Did that camping out one time on Aquaduct and the stench was huge!
