New to the forum. Kind of new to recycling. I had an auto repair shop up in New York before I defected to the great state of Tennessee. I used to recycle some parts but never paid much attention to what I was getting. Kind of got into junk cars by accident. I spent a year fixing up an old rollback truck with the intention of starting a towing business. I got the truck fully restored but had no customers to tow and no towing insurance and licenses. So I started buying junk cars to put the truck to work and justify all the money and time I spent on it. The goal is to make enough money to buy towing insurance and incorporate. But Im having so much fun doing junk cars I think I might make it a main part of my business. I just put an application in for a Tennessee scrap dealer license and Im picking up about 3 cars per week while still working a full time job. Found this forum while googling info to get the highest return from a junk car.
