    Welcome to SMF. I share your interest in metal art, not for the income, but for the challenge, creativity, and entertainment. Success in obtaining these items is limited in quantity from an individual seller and cost of shipping. It would be challenging to make a profit when you have to come to central South Dakota for a trailer load of such items purchased at scrap value.



    Some ideas for obtaining items:

    Farriers - horseshoes, rasps, spurs, etc.
    Landfill - any and all if they allow removal of items.
    Yard sales - what ever
    family estate auctions
    The best - old family dumps - for generations families would abandon old machinery and garbage in shelter belts. These are the most productive.

    After you have ten posts on the web site, please add pictures of your creations.
    Give back more to this world than we take.
