    Returning to scrapping .

    Totalled computer and electronics from 88 to 2002,took along break,did for up to 11 hours daily,now I have to clean up the remaining stuff,still have a lot of boards ,do not know who buys this in Australia.

    Theres a place in Perth that buys escrap. They have good prices too.
    If thats a bit far from you, theres 'Capital Scrap' in the ACT

    I think thats pretty good pricing. From memory a normal Motherboard is a bit under 0.5Kgs ( i figure a Lb @ 454 grams.so AU $1.60 a Motherboard.

    Since i have over 1000 Motherboards, i "should" get NZ$1700 just for the MB boards...lol.

    This pricing should help you figure out how to seperate & class your escrap.
    All batterys & extraneous metal should be removed. Metal CPU holders, 'tinsel' around the plugs on the boards, any Aluminium heatsinks,
    On the slot cards, the metal strip that holds it in & the screws.
